There are some couples who make you forget you're even working, and Tory and Jacob are exactly that kind of couple.

From the second we started walking through Saint James Court, they were laughing, teasing each other, and completely soaking in every moment together. Their joy is contagious, and spending the evening with them only made me that much more excited for their wedding later this year.


Old Louisville is one of my favorite places for engagement sessions. Between the historic homes, quiet walkways, and beautiful architecture, it feels timeless in every season. We wandered through Saint James Court, made a stop at the iconic pink mansion, explored Central Park, and simply let the evening unfold naturally.


My favorite part of the session wasn't necessarily a location—it was how effortlessly Tory and Jacob made every place feel like them. They weren't worried about posing perfectly or getting everything "just right." They were focused on each other, and that's exactly what makes photos feel genuine years later.


Of course, we had to end the evening with a champagne pop! It was the perfect way to celebrate this exciting season before they officially become husband and wife. There were lots of laughs (and maybe a little champagne sprayed everywhere), which made for the sweetest ending to an already incredible session.


Tory and Jacob, thank you for trusting me to capture this chapter of your story. Spending the evening with you both reminded me that the best photos aren't about perfect poses or perfect locations—they're about real connection. I already know your wedding day is going to be filled with so much love, laughter, and moments you'll cherish forever, and I truly can't wait to celebrate alongside you.
