I had the absolute pleasure of working with Belle and Chadrack, one of the sweetest couples I've ever met. When Chadrack reached out to me with the hopes of capturing his proposal to his now-fiancée, Belle, I knew this was going to be a truly special moment. Being trusted to document such a meaningful event is always an honor, and this proposal session in Lexington, Kentucky, was nothing short of breathtaking.

We started our session at one of Belle and Chadrack’s favorite spots, a peaceful lakeside location in Lexington where they often study the Bible together. The setting felt like something out of a love story—the calm lake, towering trees, and boats gently drifting in the background. It was the perfect place to create memories that Belle and Chadrack will cherish forever.

Chadrack went above and beyond to make the moment extra special, playing soft, romantic music as they spent time together. Then, when Belle least expected it, he surprised her with a stunning bouquet of her favorite flowers. The look of pure joy and love on Belle’s face as Chadrack got down on one knee was absolutely priceless. It was a moment filled with genuine emotion, and I feel so blessed to have captured it.

While the setting was beautiful, the true focus of this session was Belle and Chadrack’s undeniable connection. Their love and faith radiated through every moment, from their quiet embraces to the joyful laughter they shared. It was clear from the beginning that their relationship is rooted in something deeper, and that translated into some of the most heartfelt and authentic engagement photos I’ve had the privilege of capturing.
