As a wedding photographer, there are days that leave an indelible mark on your heart, and Bailey and Collyn's wedding was one of those days. Held at the stunning Churchill's in Berea, KY, their special day was filled with love, laughter, and countless unforgettable moments. My journey with Bailey began in the most modern of ways: via Facebook. She was on the lookout for a wedding photographer, and as soon as we connected, I knew this was going to be something special. Bailey's kind-hearted nature paired perfectly with Collyn's humor, making them a dream couple to work with. From the moment we met, I could tell their wedding day would be one for the books.

The day started at a cozy bridal Airbnb, where I had the pleasure of meeting Bailey and her bridesmaids. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, filled with the soft hum of excitement and laughter. I captured some stunning detail shots, each one reflecting the beauty and care Bailey put into her wedding day. But what truly set the tone for the day was a moment of quiet prayer that Bailey led. As she prayed over her friends and family, there was a palpable sense of love and gratitude in the air—it was a moment that encapsulated the spirit of the day.

Churchill's, a breathtaking venue that doubles as a restaurant, was the perfect backdrop for Bailey and Collyn’s nuptials. As we transitioned from the Airbnb to the venue, the anticipation grew. The girls continued to get ready while the groom and groomsmen arrived. The first look with Bailey in her wedding dress was nothing short of magical—tears flowed freely as everyone took in the sight of her as a bride. She was absolutely radiant. One of the most touching moments was the first look with Bailey’s nana and father. The love and pride in their eyes spoke volumes, and it was a privilege to capture such a deeply emotional exchange.

The highlight of the day for me was witnessing Bailey and Collyn’s private vows. Standing together in an intimate moment, their words to each other were filled with so much love that I couldn’t help but shed a few tears myself. It was a beautiful reminder of why I love doing what I do.

Their ceremony was equally unique and touching. Friends performed for the guests, adding a personal touch that made the day even more special. After sharing a private prayer with their pastor, Bailey and Collyn chose to forgo the traditional aisle dip and instead, they showed off their new wedding bands, letting their love and joy shine.

The reception was an absolute blast! The DJ kept the dance floor alive with a perfect mix of oldies and new hits. Everyone danced the night away, celebrating the newlyweds with enthusiasm and joy. And let’s not forget the delicious tacos that were served—talk about ending the night on a high note! The celebration concluded with a fun and festive bubble exit, sending Bailey and Collyn off in a cloud of shimmering bubbles, surrounded by love.
